Athletes Thriving Through Cancer

Thrive Cancer Foundation Supports and Trains Athletes with Cancer

Athletes are affected by cancer as well as anyone else.  Many athletes look inwards to find strength to push through their diagnosis, and have a very tough time doing so.  We here at Thrive Cancer Foundation push forward to drive inspiration to athletes and racers struggling to find that gear that they once had, to help propel them back to health.  Our director, Rife Hilgartner will train, and race to inspire and support those trying to get back to racing or just training, or even those who really want to walk around the block.  Movement is so important to us at TCF, and from a very personal level.  Rife knows how important being at a great level of fitness is, and he will continue to work towards that, with the hope of getting there, but also the hope of helping others get back to a very satisfying place of exercise.  He will ride and race to live, to motivate, to inspire, to uplift as many as he can. Whether done on US soil or around the world to prove that this disease can change things, but with the right mental fortitude, anything is possible.  Live more each and every day is the way to a great life.
